Thank you for your memories. I also grew up around A-C. My youth was spent riding on Allis tractors on a grain and livestock farm in West Central Illinois. I am the proud owner of my Grandfathers 1931 Allis UC as well as several others. We bill the UC as the oldest continuously owned tractor by one family in Knox County. My son is currently operating a farm and using Allis tractors. My son has a young son also that is 2 years old and love to ride along when he can. There is and always will be Allis-Chalmers. I would like to send your story to our newsletter to be published. It is the Allis Connections 25th anniversary and our annual show is in Middle Amana this weekend June 17 and 18.
