Just as with any good medical care and good medicine, responser's, even in free forums such as this, are obligated to tell it like it is with the best interests of the questioner in mind, even if it is not what that questioner wishes to hear. Not infrequently even effective medicine is bitter and hard to swallow, but that makes it neither less effective nor less appropriate. This may be one such occasion.
Does it really make sense to you that you are apparently able to pay for an Internet Service Provider, a computer, probably more than one TV, probably telephone service, a place to live and food for your table, but, as a diabetic, you are willing to take the realisticly severe risk of losing your foot, your leg or your life because you don't have a third party to pay for the particular services of which you are now in dire need?
Any professional who gives you advice, especially in an Internet forum without knowing you medically and your physical status not only does you great disservice, but places themselves, as least morally, at severe risk. Any non professional who gives you advice on this matter without the expertise required is even more the foo.
See a podiatrist or other appropriate doctor immediately, and if you cannot afford his/her fee, tell him/her PRIOR TO SERVICE. I can't imagine a doctor who would not see someone in your stated medical condition at either a reduced fee or gratis.
