As I assume that this was not a DIY bathroom surgery, what is your doctor's assessment of your status and have you had occasion to talk with him/her about bone stimulation methods or whether he/she feels that necessary? I take it that what you mean by "little calcification" is the lack of prolific healing bone callus. It is possible that you might take some heart in the fact that when there is excellent stabilization of the fracture margins, there is frequently less visible healing bone callus seen on x-ray. But knowledgeable examination of x-rays should be able to detect an actual healing problem if it exists. I would have to think that you likely had a Jones Fracture, as that is the most common of the 5th metatarsal fractures to present with healing problems. But you really don't think that I or anyone else reading your post can determine or even opine as to whether or not you will have eventual healing, and non-union is always a possibility with fractures.

No matter what anyone might tell you here, it can only be an answer couched in generalities which cannot translate into real help or knowledge about your individual situation. Talk it all over with your doctor, and if you have so little confidence in him/her so as to have to look for specific answers to your situation which cannot possibly obtained on the Internet, get another doctor.
