I have the same problem. I had "rocker soles" put on my shoes and it sure helped. Any good shoe repair shop can do the work. It just adds some cushioning for you feet. I also inserted some over-the-counter inserts that added some cushioning. I also use "Flexall" get on the tops and bottom of my feet before I go to the grocery store and when I return. I find that also helps. Good luck.
