What I have done is first paste the map into the Windows Paint program in the Start - Accessories menu. With Paint you can select a subset of the map and copy it to the clipboard or save it as a jpg file. CHARMED can read the jpg file directly or paste from the clipboard.
If you are using version 9.65 (or 11.05), you can have the Map definition editor bring in a map/satellite/hybrid map automatically from Yahoo. You need to specifiy a latitude and longitude and a relative scale. The map will have a scale bar on it, but it is just a map without extraneous information around it. |
