That is a great question. I can't tell you that we know the answer for sure. There are a couple considerations: one is that the motility is not great so could the sperm need more time to reach the egg? but the other is, as you said, maybe there will not be viable, motile sperm around for as long after intercourse. i would suggest that you have intercourse the day of your surge and then two days later. Please discuss this with your doctor who can review the sa as well and be more specific. GOOD LUCK!
