I am a grandmother, mother of 5 children (two I raised) and a nurse with a master’s in Nursing Education. I have had a successful 40 year career in nursing. I have been married for 39 years, and have two grown daughters all of which I am very proud after my rocky childhood.
As a small child (age 9) the incest began in a small town in southern Idaho. I gave birth to my first child at age 11. On January 11, 1966 I gave birth to a girl at Women and Children Hospital in Ogden, Utah. This child was adopted out through the LDS adoption agency. After returning to Idaho I soon became pregnant and gave birth to a son on March 14, 1967 at Washington Regional Medical Center, Fayetteville, Arkansas. I was told he was born with a hole in his heart. The county department of human services handled all the adoption.
I never saw either of these children. I have wanted to hold these children in my arms and tell them that I love them and they have been in my thoughts and prayers every day of my life.
I was adopted by a retired couple in Arkansas who saw in me something I could not see in myself. Unfortunately, I became pregnant at age 15 and also gave this third child up for adoption. However, I have found my third child and we are on the road to reuniting. I knew the name of the couple who adopted him. Thankfully with the help of facebook I was able to locate him.
I am asking if you could help me in any way to find my other children.
Thank you for reading my story.
