The hospital was Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital in Plattsburgh, N.Y.I do not know the name of the agency. It may have been social services or catholic charities. There was a twin girl who was severely retarded. She was named Linda. We had all died during delivery. I was told she would be a ward of the state because she needed tube tube fed because she couldn't take a bottle. I was asked to breast feed Christopher because he was able to learn to feed on the breast. I was not allowed to try to feed them both. She was considered hopeless. He was less damaged than she was. Christopher had mild Cerebral Palsy on the right side. |
