My name is Gina Sullivan. I am searching for my mother's birth family. My mother was born at La Creche de la Misericorde on August 31, 1952 and was adopted by U.S. parents in July, 1953. My mother passed away in 2017 and I've been told my the Quebec government that I am not entitled to her birth family's information. I've done DNA testing, registered on many different sites and have been searching for over 3 years and no luck. I saw your message and just thought I'd reach out to you to see if you ever got anywhere with your search.
