I am looking for 1/2 brother that my mother was forced to give up at birth. He was born April 12, 1948 as far as I know in Buffalo, NY at Ingleside Maternity Home for unweb mothers. The adoption records (I assume he was adopted by someone) are sealed and per NYS laws, I am not allowed to open them even though my mother is deceased now. My mother named my brother Stephen Michael Dye. If anyone has any info I would appreciate it.
