LINK TO PHOTO OF THE BUMP ON MY FOOT - PLEASE LOOK!!

Last Sunday night, after walking around all day, I felt a very sharp pinch between between my second and third toe on my right foot. Immediately, I took off my sock and tennis shoe to investigate, and I saw a tiny little red dot and a tiny forming bump. As soon as I got home, I put my foot in a little bin of epsom salt w/ water and then applied some neosporin/tea tree oil.

The next day I woke up - the bump was slightly bigger and had a little purple outlinearound the outside of the bump. I soaked my foot a few times during the day with water and oregano, water and epsom salts, etc. and applied neosporin, tea tree oil, etc.

The third day, the bump was a bit bigger and redder. Repeated treatments.

The fourth day - the bump was completely clear and bigger. Repeated treatments.

For the past two days, I've run my foot under hot water, massaged my foot and the area around the bump, and applied neosporin/tea tree oil.

There is no discoloring on my foot. I am not in pain. The bump is pretty big but I can still move my toes - haven't lost any sensation to pain, hot, cold, etc. I've kept my foot elevated while I've slept.

When I put my finger against the bump, it feels like there is a gooey substance underneath - maybe puss?

My questions are: What would you call this thing on my foot?

What can we possibly do to make this go down

Should we puncture it with a sterilized needle to drain it?

Is it time to go to the doctors?

Any opinions will be fully and deeply appreciated - thank you!
