I have a problem with my feet being hot when wearing shoes. However since the last several months my toes have dry tight skin on them, my feet feel hot and turn red all over the toes top and bottom and the soles of the feet sometimes. They are dry, not sweaty, and the skin burns quite painfully.Have been checked out for neuropathy. Negative.
I have tried fungus lotions which made it worse. Cortisone creams seem to help some.
Any enclosed shoes seem to make it much worse, especially sport shoes of any kind. I wear cotton socks which don't help any.
I have exhausted everything I know to do, even some herbal type ointments which helped at first.
I would appreciate any help I can get.
The last time my feet bothered me this bad was several years ago when I was working on my feet all day and got better with guaifenesin which I was taking for fibromyalgia at the time. I am trying guai again but so far no results.
Thanks,
Mary
