Sodium is to blame for the health problems. I just meant that even when I do eat a meal with fresh products (little or no seasonings or additives) I still find myself putting a lot of salt on my food. It is defintely an acquired taste. I know table salt has a small percentage in our overall sodium intake, but I believe any sodium elimination will help. The USDA food tracker has make me realize how much sodium I have been eating everyday. So I guess I've been trying to "wean" myself from sodium/table salt. Being healthy is hard! lol |
