Following a Tweet from Jan 3, by @schuylkillbuzz, that showed up today for some reason? The link goes to a good RepublicanHerald.com article about the Pennsylvania Dutch (Deutsch/Germans)

Survey:Connection to Pennsylvania German heritage growing: While the number of people speaking "Pennsylvania Dutch" http://dlvr.it/CZFXr

The movement of many families seems to circle between KY, IN, OH and PA. I sent this Reply-Tweet, trying to get some Kimmer/Kemmer family contacts to reply. No idea if they follow Twitter.

@schuylkillbuzz Rev War vet Nicholas Kemmer/Kimmer, buried 1841 in Bentonville, IN had roots in Berks Cnty http://bit.ly/Kimmer #Rutherford

Nicolas arrived in the US about 1777, in PA. His son, John Kemmer may have been born in Berks County, PA in 1795. (I have 2 possible birth locations)

This is the direct link to the article, in case the shortened one goes away: http://republicanherald.com/news/survey-connection-to-pennsylvania-german-heritage-growing-1.1085099
