I had a planters wart, or what was diagnosed as a planters wart removed from the bottom of my left foot many years ago.
It came back again within a few weeks. It was removed a second time and it returned again. I was referred to a surgeon who performed laser surgery. It grew back again within a year.
It grows at a rate of about .5 to 1 cm per month...thats right that fast. I have to cut and/or grind it down continuously or it becomes too painful to walk on that portion of my foot.
It appears that the core of this callus is scar tissue from the surgeries. And yes, I wear callus patches over the area to prevent pressure. This things appears to grow with or without pressure on it. Have any suggestions what may be going on here and what I might do to fix it? |
