I was born in Savannah Georgia, at St.josephs Hospital on
4-13-1966. My birth announcement in the newspaper stated that
a "Mr & Mrs. Wiley d Rimmer" gave birth to a son, my given
name Was "William Keith".
I have gotten the non identifying information from the state
of Georgia, and it said that my father was born in Texas and
my mom in Mississippi.
I have since found my birth father, and got to speak to him on the phone, once, on Christmas day 2006. I mentioned who I
was and exactly why I was calling,and asked if he would or could remember the name of my birthmother, he said he could not.He, my birthfather has since passed on.
Here are some of the items that I know about my adoption, I was placed with a family with the last name of "Finch" at some
point, they had a foster child as well as other children in the home.
More about my birth family, I had two half sisters,ages 11 and 9, and a half brother age 7 at home, my birthparents rights were terminated on May 6 1968.
A Mrs.Davis was my case worker, when I was placed up for adoption, my maternal grandmother is who made the call.
my adopted family had to go to Rincon Georgia, to pick me up the day they took custody of me, on Nov.14 1968.
