 Subject: Looking for Byrnes

I have a friend who's father was captured during Operation Market Garden. His name was Richard Joseph Byrnes. It seems some of the 508th parachuted behind enemy lines. How can I find out if Richie Byrnes was one of them? I'm trying to find his exact unit. Was Richie Byrnes in the 82nd? 508th? Any help would be much appreciated.
