There are now over 12 Tory members who have said they want to leave the council. Many of us never expected to be elected and had no idea of the huge workload we would have to undertake. I simply can't do it properly and it would be fairer on everyone, including the electorate, if they had a member who could do justice to the job. However there does seem to be fear of by-elections from the leadership which I find surprising.
