that's a ploy from retail stoers to get you to spend more money!There is no golden rule on how much you need to spend. It should be whatever you are comfortable with IN CASH not credit cards or by taking out a loan. You don't want to go into debt for a ring!! I think the middle ground is around $ 1000, some people only spend a couple hundred, some spend 2k or more. The thing to remember quality is better than quantity in the long run. You don't want your diamond to lose value down the line. |
