Good question. We do have prophets today just as the scripture you cited states. Prophets have always proclaimed the word of God. Today they do the same. Since the word of God is complete (Col. 1:25), today's prophet however proclaims the completed word of God but without new revelation. Hope this helps!

Hi Derek , Bullinger has a article on prophets , in his book on " how to enjoy the Bible .
1) The first prophet was Abram , in Gen 20:17, and what Abram did eas pray .
2) If all notice that the Prophets did , was to get Israel to return and worship Jehovah .
3) So to me , all who preach the Dispensation of the Mystery , are preach for the Assembly to return to the Mystery that Paul taught , my short answer , dan p
