Thank you for your entry concerning Christ our Head. In response my mind goes to Colossians 2:19:-
'And not holding the Head,
from which all the body
by joints and bands
having nourishment ministered,
and knit together,
increaseth
with the increase of God.'
* Looking at the context of this verse, both before and after it, the things which prevent the member of the Body of Christ 'holding' Christ as Head is revealed I have only now appreciated this fact so graphically, and I thank you for drawing my mind to this subject as you have.
To itemize these things would take some time, so forgive me if I don't, for the whole chapter needs to be consulted.
We are God's workmanship, and He will both will and do of His good pleasure, we just need to rest in Him, and trust Him to perform His will. Our task is to be thankful and live in wonder love and praise to Him who has brought us out of darkness into light, and brought us into the truth of the Body of Christ and His Headship.
