I have had plantar faceitis for 7 months. At about 4 month point, seemed to be getting much better after physiotherapy, and it was at that point I got custom orthodics. About a month after getting the orthodics, I started experiencing pain along the outer side of the affected foot, and also the plantar faceitis got worse again. At first I put the secondary pain down to simple adjustment to orthodics, but I wonder what other complication there can be? I'm wondering, in particular, about metatarsal injury (5th)? Suggestions?
