I have had similar and worse such pains in my arch. I was a server for 14 years and the side which is my left is worse than the right due to that is the side I carried the heavy trays on. I went to a podiatrist and they made me an arch support. It has been 8 months and finally I am starting to feel relief. I wear shoes 90% of the time with my supports or other supports that are less intense. I also have used Lakota get to rub up my leg as the pain was shooting up almost into my knee. This past week I have kept my feet up at night and some icing. Never apply heat it causes swelling and you want to decrease the swelling. I have finally have had some pain free days. Good Luck and always wear support shoes.
