My 14 year old son experiences heel pain almost after every game of football.This has been happening over the last 12 months, since he was 12 to 13. He has been playing football for six years.He played on Sun 8th May and straight after the game complained that his left heel was causing him some pain.Sometimes the pain goes away that night, this time he is still in pain 3 days after the game.He cannot put any weight on his left foot. He seems to be able to play a full game of football,he experiences the pain staight after the game. It is his always his left heel, he kicks the ball with his right foot. I am not sure whether to take him to see a doctor or a padiatrist.Should i get his left heel x/rayed. He is 60kg and has size 12 shoe. Please advise us on what we should do.
