This requirement, if you have noticed in the MILPERSMAN Article 1440-020 is not only bolded but it is underlined... for a reason.
You need experience as a CCC so when you go out to the Fleet on your first tour (which will surely be a sea tour) you are prepared to serve your Sailors immediately. Otherwise you'll be spending time trying to learn things you should already know.
Now, if you already know all of the required systems in and out I am sure something can be done, but usually someone wouldn't have that knowledge unless they were already a CC. |
