I am a 17 year nuclear MMC. I lost my NEC due to medication use for my back. I've been told that there's very little chance to be picked up for force conversion and that involuntary separation pay is like a game of plinko. I've read thru a few instructions but it does all seem a bit cloudy. Can anyone clarify the process of involuntary sep pay? Can anyone tell me about how long the process takes after the package is submitted? Also I have read an instruction for involuntary sep that give some benifits like house hunting leave and such, but if I only have 10 days after the message to separate, how does that even apply to me?
