We have a meeting tomorrow 6/23/09 with one of the Senator's aides. If anyone wants to send a letter that we can take along to the meeting, you are more than welcome to do so.
Things (Laws,Rights,Attitudes,Help and Justice) will never change on their own, we need to change them. We owe that to our victims, witnesses and survivors who have been thru hell.
Our Justice system is out of balance. The proceedings are followed to a "T" for those charged and convicted of crimes. WHAT ABOUT THE VICTIMS AND SURVIVORS? It is long overdue that victims have equal rights, as their accusers do.
Please get INVOLVED. There is power in numbers. Turn your hurt and anger into empowerment towards changing our justice system.
