I need to ask the same question. I go out to lunch with friends about twice a week. I always find something that one of our three children could use or want. How hard was it to actually freeze your credit cards? I think becase of my spending my marriage is on the rocks. He is a Naval Officer and is gone most of the time, but when he is home we fight aver finances.

In the past when I went through the spending sprees I wondered where did I spend all my money. In order to get out of debt one of the first things I had to do was really sit down and see where my problem areas were. What did I spend my money on? I found most of my money was spent on Internet items. My computer was my downfall for spending. After my divorce I was so lonely I spent tons of money on personal dating sites. Searching for Mr. lucky when in reality I didn't really need or want a guy. I wasn't even ready for a relationship in my state of mind. I solved my problem of spending once I froze my credit cards because I couldn't make purchases on the Internet without them.
