Thank you for your interest in SnapStone!

A SnapStone floor can be cleaned with the same typical household cleaners you would use on a more traditional porcelain tile floor. Because SnapStone uses a quality glazed porcelain tile, even a damp mop will handle most routine cleaning.

SnapStone should perform well in your entry-way. You'll want to let the SnapStone Flexible Grout cure for at least three days before you expose the area to much mositure/dirt/grim. Since entryways can track in alot of moisture and dirt, I would definitely recommend finishing the perimeter (between the tile and the wall/doorway) with a quality caulk. As with any tile (or any flooring product frankly), the surface finish will last longer if gritty materials like sand and gravel are cleaned off promptly.

Good luck with your SnapStone floor! Please send us pictures when its finished!
