Make sure the grout is mixed well and it should be fine. If the grout float is too soft it may cause the grout to be pushed down in the joint. An expoy float works best, and make sure you're striking the joint at a diagonal.
Most of the time when I end up with low joints it's beacuse I'm wipping too hard with the sponge, and not going at a diagonal. If the joints end up too low they can easily be touched up by simply grouting over them again. Urethane grouts can be a challenge to get full joints beacuse you have to clean right away. Remember to work in a small( 4-6 tiles)area at a time. Hope this helps. |
