I haven't had problems with the rubber overmold on the back of the tile, but I have had the plastic tray melt from the heat of the blade and cause a build up of plastic along the cut edge.
To clear it off I usually have a rough piece of sand paper on a block to knock off the excess plastic, sometimes just adjusting the pump on the saw to increase the water flow to cool the blade better solves the issue.
To be perfectly honest I dont use my wet saw that much with SnapStone anymore because using my tile cutter works so well and doesn't make a mess. There's a video on line.
I hope this helps. Let me know.
