SnapStone is designed for use in typical residential applications where the temperature is maintained between 32F and 110F. While the individual system components are not damaged by exposure to temperatures outside this range, we have not fully tested the system-level implications of multiple freeze-thaw cycles.

Regarding a wood stove, some stoves would control/limit exposure at the floor to temps below 110F, others would not. There are 100's (1000's?) of stoves on the market, and we don't have specific knowledge of individual stove characteristics. As long as the stove would not cause the tile to reach prolonged temperatures above 110F, SnapStone will perform well, and the application will be safe.
