When posting, put M. or fe. mm/dd/yyyy and city,state. If you are searching for an adoptee put ISO: m. or fe. mm/dd/yyyy city,state. Then we can tell you how to sign up with the state registry. Check the laws. Many states you can request your original birth cert. NJ,OH. Maine, NH, Kansas, and Alaska, and Hawaii, and Oregon ARe open. Other states have states registry and can give background information. Other states have changed their laws, and its good to know what the latest laws are. Also think about doing DNa. IF you did DNa, say which company. As you can now share the DNA results on other sites. So if you say what you have done so far, or know birth names, it helps to be able to guide you.
