Libby,
I have 2 shefflera plants approximately 8 1/2 years old. They are growing well but are about to outgrow their "winter homes". I usually take them inside during the cold months.
One is about 5 feet tall and had 3 stalks each about the size of a broomstick. The other is about 3 1/2 feet tall and has several stalks a little bigger than pencils.
Do I need to trim/cut them back now, or wait until spring? How far do I dare cut?
Thanks a lot! I try to listen to you on Channel 6 as much as I can.
