Option A - 8 Captain: The lighter and warmer tones are very appealing, and the warm light fixtures in the Lobby and over the entry doors have a more attractive feel. The irregular carpet tiles are a very clever way to fix future problem areas as they arise.
Option B - 6 Captain: Just as attractive as option A, the charcoal tones give an elegant, cool appearance to the hallways. A nice touch is how it makes the wooden thresholds pop. The lobby feels a bit institutional by comparison, but perhaps keeping all light fixtures warm instead of cool would change that.
Both: Nice feeling of completeness are the carpeted stairwell landings. Over at Avenue 64 they also have the stairs carpeted. I felt envious.
My vote: Since both options are so acceptable, it would be nice to alternate from building to building, i.e. all even numbered buildings in Option B, all odd numbered buildings
in Option A. If it comes down to one option or the other my vote goes to Option A.
