The C47 and later the DC3 had a range of right at 1,000 miles. The C47 was widely used in WWII in both the European and Pacific theaters.

I am curious how the C47 reached the Pacific theater. The distance from the West coast to Hawaii is more than double the range of the C47.

If they flew the entire way what was the routing?
