Hello & good evening or morning! I hope all is well today. I’m searching for the best head gasket & rebuild kit for my 3500 dodge from 2003. It is a 24 valve 5.9L Cummins with 6 speed standard transmission. I am not sure what is better to apply to my build, a Cometic gasket set or a high performance from another brand. The truck will be used for heavy tow & heavy haul applications & occasionally racing sessions. It’s more of a work truck but I want to be able to get past traffic while being loaded or climb in mountainous regions if needed while traveling. The lower end has been built for stage 2/stage 3 Perfromance. I have a gridlock girdle for the lower end. However I’m not sure what gasket to use for the head portion. I am wondering if you have rebuild kits or upgraded kits for heads so I can build my head to accommodate my lower end. My preference is titanium valves & retainers if possible. The truck drives mostly in texas so it’s hot in summer. We do travel carrying a gooseneck or 5th wheel trailer when driven. Any advice is greatly appreciated. I appreciate your time & look forward to hearing from you. Also if you have recommendations for a tune to apply to the Cummins similar to the f250/f350 tunes that have 6-10 different tune applications.
I had gotten your website link via Cummins forum. Someone mentioned your company & highly recommended your advice. Was instructed to ask for Jeff.
Have a wonderful rest of your day!! Talk to you soon :) |
