In January I treated myself to a pedicure. Two days after the backs of my heels started to itch and drive me crazy. Then it spread up my lower back leg and on the sides and on my feet, but not on my soles or my shins. Continuous buring and itching. I also broke out in pustulars. My right foot was hot, red and burning like hell. I've been to a derm and the Dr. four times. I was on Cipro for a week that broke the low grade fever that accompanied this.

Recently after four months my heels are starting to itch again. I've used Bactroban,Flutacosne over the counter drugs and Tea Tree oil. I don't know what type of Dr. to see. Since its mainly my feet does a Podiatrist know about different fungal infections? I need some help. I'm at my wits end. Any info is helpful. I don't know which way to turn. I've really been getting the runaround.
