Hi again, and thanks to both of you for responding. Joyce, if you don't mind I would like to set some paramaters for this discussion so that I can get a better understanding of your answer. First, no Greek. I don't use the Greek, I use only the English in the AV 1611. Long story but that is where I'm at so please keep it in simple English.
Second, I need to know point blank.......were works required for salvation in any dispensation past, and future? I believe I understand your answer to be no, but I must clarify. I am trying to be a Berean with the Acts 28 doctrines and this is one that I need to get first.
I understand and agree that we should "be careful to maintain good works", because they are "good and profitable unto men.", and also "for necessary uses". Titus 3:8, 14
I believe that this is the whole crux of right division, because if there is no difference in salvation in the dispensations, then something is wrong with the Book. |
