Hi Lynn, I too have a similar injury with very little imput from my orthopaedic surgeon other than I should have been walking from day 1. I injured my lisfranc joint on February 20 and I too am still in an air cast and am now wondering what the heck I should do now. I am an anxious athlete who wants to get back into coaching next year and can hardly carry my 3-year old when he falls asleep. Believe me when I say that I understand your frustration. I have found some good websites and they all say that early diagnosis is key but even then the odds of a full recovery are only 50%.
