It depends on the type of pain that you are having.
If it is joint pain, i.e. arthritic, then yes, modern acupuncture can be very succesful. I am a podiatrist in the UK that uses modern acupuncture to treat many arthritic 'bunions' with a high success rate, it usually relieves the pain for 3 months. So most people need a treatment about 4 times a year. However if the pain is due simply to shoe pressure on the joint then acupuncture is unlikely to help. I hope that this helps you out! |
