My husband is having alot of problems with his feet, I have been doing some research, and it sounds like what he has is P. N. but we are not quite sure. We have seen to different Doctors, no one can tell us what is wrong with him? He has an appt. with a neurologist this month. But he is in so much pain that he is not getting any kind of rest at night. Every thing that we have read seems to point to P.N., the sensitive skin, the toes hurting, the balls of his feet feeling like they are on fire, sometimes feeling like that they are cold, balls of his toes hurting, there is swelling in his toes and the balls of his feet, numbness in his big toe, sharp needle like pain all over the foot, when toe goes numb he has pain all the way up his leg to knees, one occassion the pain reached his hip. I could go on and on, Please if any one could help out here we would be most greatful.

They have him on 300mg 3Xs a day of Neurontin , and it is doing nothing for the pain, the only thing that we have found that works slightly is Ultram (I dont think that is the right spelling), but they dont even want him to take that. Anything that anyone could give for pain med advise would be great as well.

Thank you.
