Thanks for the input, Tim. I own no other Leicas ( I own a Mamiya 6 [main camera], a Canon IIB , a couple of Yashica Electros and a Yashica 14e) other than this new digital Leica Dlux 2 that I just received today for my birthday from my son who is determined to drag his old Dad kicking and shouting into the digital realm, although in all fairness I have been using a scanner for some years. This is my first digital camera which looks to provide full manual capability. I have been reading the diatribes on both sides (film vs digital) and look forward to developing my own opinion. Anyway, thanks to both you and Roger for your input. It is much appreciated. |
