This posting is for a Part-time maintenance worker. The typical work schedule will be 7:00 AM to 3:00 AM (8 hours) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, (3 days per week), 24 hours per week maximum, excepting specialty work which may include evenings, weekends and/or additional days. Salary is $10.00 per hour.
Position is primarily accountable for performing a variety of maintenance and repair activities to the interior and exterior areas of the property including, but not limited to: painting and drywall, doors and door closers, other structural elements, parking lots and sidewalks, interior and exterior lighting including lamp, fuse and ballast replacement, minor plumbing repairs including clearing roof, floor and other drain stoppages.
Position is secondarily accountable for performing interior and exterior custodial duties as needed including: sweeping and power washing sidewalks, gathering trash and emptying trash receptacles; operating trash compactors and recording trash compactor readings; snow shoveling and salting.
Incumbent must be able to operate a variety of equipment to perform minor repairs and maintain cleanliness of property including ladders and high-reach or lift equipment. Valid drivers license required.
Other duties will include:
1. assisting other departments including, but not limited to, Marketing with event setup and Local Leasing with placement and cart maintenance and repair;
2. maintaining supply inventory, records, files, material safety data sheets, equipment and tools;
3. completing additional assignments as required.
