Summer Camp Counselor
8 week program
Monday thru Friday 8:30-4:30
Before the onset of the program, employees will be required to attend a 1 day paid orientation.
Counselors must be 18 or older and required to complete a background check.
Each counselor will be assigned to a group of children, to be determined by the Division Manager.
Specified Duties of the Camp Counselor:
1. Plan and organize daily activities for children
2. Supervise daily activities for children
3. Participate in recreational and social activities for children
4. Maintain daily records of attendance for their group
5. Oversee the safety and well-being of all children
6. Assist group members in resolving personal concerns, and inform Division Manager of all social and behavioral concerns
7. Keep parents apprised of all social and behavioral concerns involving their child
