Demand a CT scan if it doesnt get better by 11-12 weeks.
Its either a jones, pseudo jones, or avulsion. Its not both a jones and an avulsion.
Hope that its an avulsion because they are more likely to heal. Jones usually require more aggressive treatment. Next time you are in look at where the fracture is, make him show you why it is either a jones or an avulsion. I doubt he would give you a walking boot for a Jones fracture.
