Don't worry i have flat feet also i went to see a foot doctor for other foot problums i have ingrowen tonails on the big toes and a bunion at the MPT joint i do have arthritis in my big toe bone it started at the big toe joint and when the weather is cold or going to change it hurts.and she told me i have flat feet also she recamended me to get the new balance shoes i am stell waitting for the orthotics to come in. also if you are in pittsburgh pa i would tell you to see Pittsburgh Famly Foot Care and see DR Saheta DPM. i tryed the walk fit orthotics and i think they DON'T WORK i have them in my old shoes and in my fire boots. also here is the website for them www.pffcpc.com i am 32 years old also feel free to contact me any time
