You state that you had sustained a peculiar injury, but you offer no details of the event. As you have already seen doctors who have offered you no diagnosis, on what basis do you or they exclude plantar fasciitis. I often hear from patients who state that they had had a club foot, and frequently upon subsequently either obtaining the records or reviewing the story, it often becomes clear that it was not at all a club foot which they had had. I can't say that pertains to you, but I am often skeptical of that diagnosis from a patient simply on face value. That being said, it is not all that uncommon that there is some residual deficit from what is termed a corrected club foot. Finally, a pes cavus foot is one of the most difficult types to successfully treat, and it is certainly possible that your problem could be related to that deformity. In any event, if would be impossible to offer you a meaningful response to your bottom-line question without a hands-on physical examination. As I have over and over again stated here, forums such as this, where their is very limited ability to obtain the necessary data required for diagnosis, are not really suited to that purpose, and function much better for general discussion of common problems and possible treatment alternatives once a diagnosis has been established.
