Certainly, any meaningful suggestion would first require an actual observation and assessment of the problem by professional examination. But calluses in children are frequently more of the sort one get on the palms of the hands from friction and shearing forces than ones cause by bone and weight-bearing disorders as is generally the case in adults. See a podiatrist for a hands-on examination.
