Shoes are not therapeutic devices, although they can act as platforms for WELL THOUGHT OUT therapy when therapy is needed. At 19 years of age, in spite of your foot architecture, if you have had no arch or foot complaints and have been comfortable in a shoe without a built in arch support (most built-in, one size fits all arch cookies are marketing devices rather than therapy), I see no particular reason to go to a shoe with other than that in which you have been comfortable. If it ain't broke . . don't fix it. If you have had comfort with one brand and style of shoe and not with another, I would think you should do well continuing with the one that is comfortable for you. |
